Blush Application for Various Face Shapes

Did your mom teach you to smile when you apply blush to ensure you apply product to the apple of your cheeks? Mine did. And while that technique may have worked when I was in my late teens and early twenties and looked like a clown anyway, it does nothing for me now that I’m well into my thirties.

As it turns out, applying blush PROPERLY is a lot trickier than I originally thought, but after watching this tutorial by gossmakeupartist (my favorite makeup artist ever!), I finally have some great tips under my belt to make my round face look slender and more defined.

This tutorial is great for all face shapes, especially long, square, heart-shaped, or round faces, and will give you the tips and tricks you need to learn how to apply blush for different face shapes.

Give it a look and let me know what you think!

Oh, and if you don’t own a fan brush and can’t afford the entire set of Wayne Goss Brushes like me (sob!), can I recommend the MAKE UP FOR EVER 134 Large Powder Fan Brush? It’s a bit pricey, but the quality is amazing!
